The lavish and eye striking lifestyle of a model, excites us to become one, but there has always been a question on “How much can I earn in Modelling?”. Modelling is always an art of being famous. the more famous you become the more your income. Income is the foremost thing that comes in your mind while deciding the career.

Modelling needs no formal education. All you need is skills and talent. There are different industries in modelling that have different income to give. It’s upon you where you want to head in.

The Fashion or Runway Modelling.

The fashion industry is a highly competitive industry with an increasing number of models every year. The amount of money paid to models depends upon how huge the show and the organisers are. An average earn in modelling is somewhere around Rs 5,000 to Rs.10,000. Also here the working hours vary, sometimes you need to work for 12-14hrs per day or sometimes just for 4-5 hours. It all depends upon the client. Once you become an established model with good fame and name you earn anything between Rs.20,0000 TO Rs.50,0000.

Print Modelling

If you really are planning to start your career in Print Modelling, you can earn in modelling, is minimum Rs.3000-Rs.5000 and is also a very good amount to start with. As you are a fresher you do not have much experience hence here instead of running behind the money, look and chase for experience. Later on, along with a good experience your money can go up to Rs.10,000- Rs.30,000.

Commercial Modelling

When you start your commercial journey there is more for you to learn and increase reach. If you are into commercial modelling initially you are paid from Rs.6000- Rs.8000 up to Rs.15,000- Rs.25,000 depending upon the production house. As in commercial modelling, T.V shoots are often, So slowly as you take pace people will start recognizing you and will love your work and once you become a popular face, you ace the space. In this field you can fix your own budget and get the production to pay you accordingly.

Modelling is a high-status work. They say that female models earn more than male models. A male model earns an average of 6000-10,000 per show and a female model earns around Rs. 10, 000 per show. Apart from this, there are Many model coordinators who Want provide Modelling assignments on a commission basis, which is usually in the bracket of 15% to 20% per assignment.
